Van is a financial adviser looking to help people invest wisely and reduce their taxes. Clients come to NBL who want the money they have accumulated to work hard without paying an excessive amount of tax.

NBL and Van’s aim is threefold; firstly, to help people negotiate complex issues associated with their finances; secondly, to maximise the growth potential on their pensions and investments; finally, to minimise the impact of tax so that they can look after the people that matter.

Van has been in the financial services industry nearly 30 years. He wants to understand what is important to the individual as this makes for better advice. Van is exceptional with technical financial solutions and is able to communicate the information in an easily understood way.

Luke is a Financial Adviser at NBL. He focuses on providing holistic financial planning advice to professionals, business owners and individuals across several industries. Luke offers a dedicated and bespoke wealth management planning service, advising clients on a range of key areas, including investment and inheritance tax planning, pension planning and protection. He takes pride in building and maintaining long-term trusted relationships with clients by providing tailored financial advice, offering clients a clear financial plan towards financial independence.

Peter has provided Financial Planning advice to individuals, families and businesses based upon the highest professional standards for over 25 years.

He recognises that each NBL client is individual, requiring a bespoke service, tailored to their own financial needs and future aspirations. Peter’s aim is to build close, personal, long-term relationships, based upon trust and an in-depth understanding of personal finances and needs. This ensures that he is able to provide the advice that’s needed, when it’s needed.

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with family and friends, visiting new places both at home and abroad, enjoying music events or even pottering in the garden.

Kerry has worked in Financial Services in various roles and businesses since 1995 and been a Paraplanner since 2007. She juggled being a mum to two children with studying, and achieved Diploma status in 2017. Kerry believes that if a job is worth doing it is worth doing well and always takes great pride in her work. A happy and satisfied client equals a happy Paraplanner.

The children are now grown, Kerry and her husband are experiencing all the wonders that our World has to offer – they love to visit new destinations.

Kerry is a keen runner and enjoys skiing. Big walks are also a must, whatever the weather – they have a Labrador, who doesn’t take ‘no’ for an answer. Cooking and gardening fill the rest of Kerry’s time.

Isabel assists in the day-to-day activities of NBL advisers, ranging from booking meetings to answering queries from clients. She enjoys working within the NBL family, building relationships with our clients, and learning more about financial services every day.

In her spare time, she is studying to gain a Bachelor of Law degree. Isabel enjoys spending time with friends and family and her German Shepherd, Saffie. Isabel always makes time to see live music and loves going on holiday inside and outside of the UK, particularly the Lake District.

Vanessa has worked in Financial Services for over twenty years in various administrative roles. She enjoys the challenge of a varied workload, problem solving and supporting our clients. Outside of work Vanessa enjoys travelling and spending time with her family. Vanessa has two boys that are growing up too fast and the majority of the her time outside of work is spent running the boys to their various sports and activities.

Toni has spent the majority of her career working within the Financial Services industry in a variety of roles. Currently Toni is providing administrative support to NBL clients. She holds Financial Planning Certificates one, two and three. Toni enjoys spending time with her family.

Lewis supports NBL advisers with day-to-day administration and assisting clients with queries. Lewis joined NBL as a school-leaver looking for a career in financial services. He enjoys building relations with clients and providing the best service possible. Lewis is currently studying for his R01 exam which will further help his career in the finance industry.

Outside of work Lewis enjoys following his local football team Maidstone United around the country. He travels to America yearly to see family.

Nicola has worked in Financial Services for 20-years in an administrative roles. She enjoy the day-to-day variety the job brings, and no two days are ever the same. Nicola enjoys working as part of a team and helping clients with queries or any concerns they may have.

When she is not working, Nicola enjoys travelling, particularly visiting the Greek Islands. She enjoys socialising with friends and family. Nicola has family in America and she tries to visit them when possible. Nicola also loves live music events such as concerts and festivals.

Gail’s role within NBL is Assistant to Van Greaves and the Financial Adviser team. Gail has worked with Van for over 20 years and although she is now semi-retired, she still enjoys the role and contact she has with clients and the opportunity to build up a good working relationship with them.

Gail lives in Cornwall, which sometimes causes confusion when a client calls and expects a call to come from the Kent area. Hopefully clients realise that Gail is not a cold caller. Living in Cornwall gives Gail the opportunity to make the most of the coast and countryside, as there is plenty to do, especially as she now has a small dog who gets lots of walks and gives Gail lots of exercise.
